IEP conned us into making hotel reservations through them for a show in Chicago in March.in the weeks leading up to the show they continually told us that we could not contact the hotel directly. That only IEP had access to our reservations (red flag).
The week before the show we finally called the hotel directly. Only 10 of the 22 rooms were actually reserved. No other reservations had been made. We had to scramble to make new reservations at a higher rate. Meanwhile, we tried multiple times to reach IEP and resolve this "misunderstanding". No one was ever available to talk.
The only person we could reach was the receptionist and she continued to apologize, transfer us to voice mail, take messages and say that Michelle or Leo or Leslie would call us right back. No one ever called.
This is a total scam!
