We made hotel reservations with Orbitz.com over a year ago. The charged my credit card and gave me a confirmation number and said everything was set to go. The night before my stay I called the hotel to confirm my reservations and they said the reservations never existed and as a matter of fact they had been booked long before I made my reservations through Orbitz.com so there was no way I would have gotten in anyhow.
I called Orbitz back to get my money refunded and to ask how they can charge me and tell me they had reservations with a hotel when that was a BIG LIE! To this day I am still fighting them for my money back. I'm glad I made the call to the hotel beforehand otherwise I would have been out in the cold and stranded far away from home. They lack follow through, and are a bunch of scam artists in my opinion. I'll never use this company again and I have advised many others not to as well.
