I needed to change my flight by one day for a return due to a medical condition. Expedia pretended to call the airline (Finnair) and then told me that it could only be changed through the airline. Upon consulting with the airline, they told me that no one from Expedia called them, and that only Expedia could change this ticket. To add to it, I attempted to add the middle name onto the tickets (they were not there and the TSA won't allow you to fly unless the ticket matches the passport) and Expedia told me that Finnair's rules state the ticket must be canceled and re-booked (at a possibly higher fare!) to do this. Once again, I called Finnair and they laughed, saying that it was a simple procedure to add the middle name.

Expedia, you blatantly lied to me and referred me to the airline TWICE when their policy has no bearing on yours. You are losing customers every day due to your extremely poor policy and treatment. I lost $1200.00 on these tickets, money in your pocket. I have not seen one gesture of goodwill to keep a customer.
