I have booked with Expedia for many years and never had a problem. I booked a trip for my family for July 10. I have always been able to check in and view my flight information on line. This time I am not able to because the agent told me that Expedia owns the ticket and I cannot choose my seat or get a boarding pass on line. I have called a few times to try to get this resolved, but have only met with resistance. I then asked if I could cancel the hotel portion of my reservation, again I was informed that I would have to cancel the entire reservation because this trip is a "special rate" trip. I was never informed of this when I made this reservation and never had an issue before. I am recovering from cancer surgery and it is difficult enough for me to get around and now i have to stand on line to get my boarding passes. I have never been treated so rudely from a company that has gotten my business for quite a while. I will never use Expedia again. Your rates were not any cheaper than if I did everythign separately, so your advertisement is false. I want to be able to get my boarding passes on line. Someone needs to get back to me asap as I am leaving on Saturday.
