I received a $250 charge from the Renaissance Nashville hotel for allegedly smoking in my room. When I called to dispute the charge, I was told that there was a lighter and an empty box of cigarrettes on the table. I honestly did not smoke in the room, merely cleaned out my pockets. They said they would not remove the charge. I disputed it with my credit card company, but they said the charge was valid, yet there is no proof. Any help would b e greatly appreciated.
