I recently made 4 hotel reservations for my trip to the west coast. I made these reservations through Orbitz. Because of the denver blizzard I could not use my reservations. I wanted to cancel and get a refund. But Orbitz did not have the courtesy to give me the refund back. They put me on hold for more than 2 hours and hung up on me. I have learnt a lesson through this. I will not use Orbitz any more. I will just do a search get the deals and contact the hotels directly. Just because I went through these people I had to lose around 250 dollars. They are not nice people.
This is more of a warning to others than a rip off report. I have use Orbitz for more than 3 years and this time I ended up in this situation and they screwed me.
