Misleading advertising

I was given economy class tickets to England and wanted to go 1st class. I got online to Priceline.com and chose the name your won price selection. Economy tickets were going for 750.00 and 1st class for 4500.00 or better. There was a pull down menu which allowed you to select from different clsses, including 1st class, which I selected. Further down it stated that name your own price was economy class. Obvious confusion. I figured that if 1st class was not avaible it would come back and say something about invalid or incorrect selection.

I put in 1500.00 a ticket. It came back that my bid had been accepted, but for economy class. They do not list a phone number, but I was able to find one through their insurance providers. I called within 2 minutes, but they said they could do nothing and to call the airline, who said that I would have to deal with priceline.

Priceline even e-mailed me back that they were aware I had selected 1st class from a pull down menu on their website, but they would not do anything. I even tried to get them to give the difference in price between economy and 1st class to a charity rather than pocket the difference, but they had no intrest in that either. The total with taxes was about 3800.00, which I was never able to use since I already had free tickets for the same time and day.
