My husband & I had been married a year when we recieved this offer in the mail. They of course, made it out to be this fabulous vacation package! They requested half of the amount for the vacation at the time that I called in. I then told them that we had just purchased a credit card & that we hadn't even had a chance to activate it.
Well they said "thats fine we will give you a few minutes to call it in, " & they insisted that they would call me back rather than me call them when I was through. They never mentioned to me that I had 3 days to cancel nor did they send me a cancellation request form in my vacation package.
I have had the package over a year & we have tried everything to get out of it. They refuse to refund my money. They just keep extending my expiration date. I found that this advertisement was very false, & misleading, I have come across soo many better deals.
This is exactly the type of fraud that I was afraid of. Me & my husband have a child & we definitely do not look forward to this vacation package that is going to be a total nightmare!
They have told me that the package is fully transferable. I cant find anyone that wants it! I guess I could ask Ramada Plaza Resorts to try to get "rid" of it for me, but then there is another victim. I wonder what they would say to me if I asked them to resale it themselves & refund me my money.
