Yesterday my mother was to come back home from Edmonton to Grande Prairie. She arrived at the terminal in Edmonton an hour early and got booked in. The whole time she was at the ticket counter, the attendant could only complain about how the company was trying to shut them down and how they were getting fewer buses etc... Somehow I'm not surprised. Anyway, 2:30 comes around and everyone boarded the bus. 5 minutes before the bus is scheduled to depart, everyone is told that the departure will be delayed fr atleast an hour because they have no driver for that bus and the relief would have to come from Red Deer, over an hour away. While they waited, they were not permitted to sit on the bus and were told they could not re-enter the terminal as they would not be able to get back to the bus. The fact that your company would make a passenger STAND beside the bus with nowhere to sit for over an hour with no way to even use the bathroom even, is ridiculous. Add to that, the fact that many of these people were quite elderly, my mother is also 76 and has suffered 2 heart attacks in the recent past. She will never ride your buses ever again due to the horrible experience she had to endure while simply waiting for a ride home, that she paid for. You should be ashamed of the poor standards of service that this company has become famous for.
