Greyhound Bus Service Will never be used by anyone in my family ever again%u2026.
The last and final trip was planned. He was coming home for Thanksgiving from Burlington VT. He bought a ticket from Burlington VT to Dover NH. This trip did not just take him to Dover NH%u2026 He went all the way to south station Boston then back up to Portsmouth before being delivered to us in Dover. A 4 hour trip took 8 hours.
Then to top off this trip He had the exact same trip home. That was not going to happen again.
We bought a new ticket leaving Concord NH at 3:15 two days after Thanksgiving to return to Burlington VT. We had him at the Concord NH bus terminal (which has nothing to do with Greyhound) an hour before his bus was scheduled to leave. We said our goodbyes (we thought) and asked him to call us when he return to his apartment in Burlington VT.
An hour later I got a text from him saying the bus was going to be 2 hours late. He had no reasoning for this %u2026 Then an hour later he was told that the bus was full and there was standing room only. No one was getting off or on the bus in Concord. This was after the bus company sold 10 more tickets%u2026
I called Greyhound in White River Junction VT and asked for reasoning behind all of the delays and changes.

Customer Service told me that the original Greyhound Bus coming from South Station in Boston was infested with Cockroaches! They had to get a new bus which took 2 hours to switch all of the riders already on the bus with the roaches to the new so called %u201Cclean%u201D bus.
They (Greyhound) over booked the bus then they had cockroaches on the buses and then cancelled 10 more customers ride to VT.
We did get refunded only for the last ticket we purchased%u2026 but then took a ride to Burlington VT at 5 pm to get my husband%u2019s son home%u2026 Which include a 5 to 10 care pile up on route 89 due to a severe snow squall. We sat praying that no one was seriously hurt for an hour watching ambulance after ambulance removing people from their automobiles. Finally at 1am we got home to Barrington NH.
I just wanted to thank Greyhound for such awesome customer service and wonderful planning %u2026 I have no idea why this company is still in business%u2026.
