I ordered a stator for an outbaord motor from Seatemp over the phone using my visa backed debit card. They told me they had the part in stock, and would ship it out that same day. Expect it's arrival in two to three days. When it still hadn't arrived in five days, I called them back to see what the holdup was. I was told that my card was denied, and the part was never shipped.
Before I called them back, I had checked my account with my online banking, and the charge was all ready on my account. I told them this over the phone, and they asked me to fax them the information off of the bank statement and they would place the money back in my account. I don't have a fax, so I copied all the pertinent information to an email and sent it to them. I then called them on the phone and gave tehm all the information over the phone as well. I was told the money would be back in my account by noon that day.
Well, this was two weeks ago. I have continued calling them and sending them emails, and they still keep telling me it has been done, but still no money has been returned to me. When I called in this Monday (May2) I was told that they had taken care of the matter on Friday would I please give it until the end of business that day for it to show up in my account. Guess what? STILL no money returned to my account!
These peoole lie without any regard for the fact that you KNOW they are lying to you! They are rude, and very unprofessional. I will tell anyone and everyone who asks that they should not attempt to do any business with this company.
