Sent the wrong part twice, made me pay for shipping both times, lied and cheated me

I ordered a pypes exhaust from RPM OUTLET for my boyfriend's 2006 v6 mustang a while back. I orded it with my debit card and had it shipped to his house. I believe it cost $121.90.

Not long after, the part came but it was for the left side and his exhaust is on the right. So he contacted them about a return and sent it back, paying for shipping himself. They proceeded to tell him that they often had problems with pypes exhaust, which is probably just one of many lies they told me. They also told him they would repay him for shipping, which was about $11.

The next time I checked my banking statement, I saw where they had taken another $100 out of my account. I immiedately called them to see why. It says on the website customer service is from 8 to 5, but you can reach them only from 9 to 4. The person I spoke to told me the part he ordered after the return cost $100 more and they had spoken to my boyfriend about it and that he said it was ok.

I thought my boyfriend has just ordered something else so it didn't really concern me about the $100, but I asked them why they did not contact me about the $100 or send me an invoice since it is MY name on the billing and not his. The representative apologized and told me an invoice would be sent to me as soon as possible. I NEVER received that invoice.

Right after that, I called my boyfriend to see what he had ordered and he said that he had NOT in fact talked to them at all, so the first csr lied to me. I called back immediately and had to explain all of this to a different customer service rep, who then proceeded to hang up on me. I called right back and had to explain it all again and it turns out I was talking to the same csr who denied hanging up on me.

She then told me that they were sending a GT dual exhaust and it costs $100 more. I told her that didn't make any sense since he had a V6 and finally got frustated and just told her ok and then my boyfriend called to straighten it out. They said that they would send the GT exhaust, he could take out the correct side and send the other back and then I would get my money back.

When the GT exhaust came, he did just that and sent it back, again paying for $11 shipping out of his own pocket. He nor I was ever reimbursed for shipping after they told us they would do so.

After a week or two with no refund of my $100, I called to see where it was. They told me that it would take about 7-10 days once they received the part to go back into my account. I asked them to tell me when they got it so that I would know how long I had to wait for it and they put me on hold for 50 minutes to tell me 7-10 days.

After 13 days without receiving my money, I called back again to ask about it. They proceeded to put me on hold and tell me it would be 7-10 days. I told them I had called before and someone told me it would be 7-10 days so obviously no one had taken any action to try to refund my money. They blamed it on a miscommunication. They sent my boyfriend, (not ME-the billing name) an invoice saying I would receive $100.

A few days later, I checked my bank statement to see $99.99 back into my account. At this point, I was so outdone with everything they had put me through, it made me mad they shorted me a penny and I also wanted to find out why, so I called back and told them I knew it was dumb to make a big deal over a penny, but if they were going to take a penny from me, I wanted to know why.

They told me that they made it $99.99 instead of $100 so the bank would not label it a cash advance and it would get it into my account quicker. Knowing they were probably not telling me the truth, I called my bank to see if they could put $99.99 into my account quicker than $100 over something called a cash advance and they told me that did not make any sense.

I am so frustrated and outdone with this company that I am just going to give up trying to get my penny and shipping back. My boyfriend paid $33 for shipping that should have been $11. I just want everyone to know that this company is a rip-off and you SHOULD NOT do business with them.
