On 10/28 I ordered $52.45 worth of boat parts using the on-line shopping cart provided by L.E.H. Seatemp. I paid via Paypal during the ordering process. I received an order confirmation shortly after.
After several weeks of waiting, I called Seatemp / Tom Izzi (owner) several times and left messages but nobody returned my calls. I also followed up with several e-mails. These were also unanswered.
On 11/26 I reported my loss to the Paypal resolution center. Amazingly, I finally got an email from TTuckerton at aol.com (Seatemp) stating that they had no record of my order. They could either send me the parts I ordered or send me a refund (I never got). I opted for the refund since I was already suspicious from all my unanswered calls and e-mails over a one months span.
On 11/30 Paypal was only able to recover $6.37 from Seatemp or Tom Izzy's account. This leaves me out $46.08 of which I received nothing! I still send out repeated emails to them to give them an opportunity to make it right to no avail.
Tom Izzy, Seatemp, LEH Seatemp, Thom Izzy, [email protected] or whatever alias they use are Thieves. Don't be fooled by their professional looking web site www.seatemp.com. They are in fact crooks! Also, Ignore any lame excuses like I was on vacation, I never got the order, Paypal handled that. Etc. I understand now after much research that they are great at excuses.
I also will tell anyone and everyone who asks that they should not attempt to do any business with this company.
