When I was first opening my business. I received a call from a salesperson from this company and thought gee, they are willing to set me up with a web site to distribute my products worldwide and maybe I can make some money.
The website was to be set up with a pay pal plan so my customers could order and I could ship them the next day. I was so excited. I was promised the website within 1 month and after sending pictures of my products with descriptions of each. I waited and waited and waited. I called them umpteen times and was always given the run around. They said the pictures had to be resubmitted. I did that and than when my next bank statement came in, I found that they had charged my account close to $700.00.
Reminding you that this is a new business, I bounced checks and had to explain to creditors why my checks bounced. I immediately closed my account and opened a new one. After calling Landmark to tell them what I did and that I was very upset, they turned my account over to a collection agency. I have never been more embarrassed or upset. I filed a report with the better business bureau and nothing ever came of it. I finally convinced the collection agent to check out my story and told them that I never even used their credit card machine because I couldn't get it to work. The first time I tried to use it, the card of my client was refused.
Knowing this client personally, I called Landmarks 24/7 hotline for help. I waited 45 minutes on hold with my client there and never got to talk to a person. The recordings kept going around in a circle and I wondered if there were actually any people who worked there. Finally, I hug up and my client mailed me a check. PLEASE BEWARE OF ANY OFFERS this company gives you. They sound good but are only one headache after another.
