Ladco Leasing And LandMark Merchant Solutions I too am in the process of being ripped off by Ladco Leasing and Landmark Merchant Solutions California

I was not told my checking account would automatically be debited each month by Ladco Leasing until after the lease was signed and sent back to Landmark Merchant Solutions. I have never done business this way and don't intend to start. I choose to either pay my bills online or mail them out.

I was told my account would automatically be debited when the training person from Landmark Merchant Solutions called me and went over the lease. I told her right then and there that I don't do business that way. She said I'd have to call Ladco on that because they are the leasing company. I was told this after the lease was signed and faxed back to Landmark Merchant Solutions.

I called Ladco and they said to call Landmark. I did call Landmark and the sales rep gave me no satisfaction whatsoever. He just wanted to know why I didn't want the payment automatically debited and asked if I'd had a bad experience at one time. I told him I did not have bad experience because I choose NOT to do business this way. He said he'd get back to me and never did. I called him twice after that and he said he was on another line and would call right back. He never did.

This is a ridiculous way to do business and I am notifying my bank today to let them know that no company will debit my account for any reason. If I choose to pay a bill on line I will but no automatic debits.

I returned the credit card machine to Ladco. They signed and received it. Three days later I got a manual machine in the mail from Landmark Merchant Solutions which I refused and returned.

I contacted a lawyer and was told that because Landmark Merchant Solutions did not inform me of the payments being automatically debited from my checking account until after I signed their lease, that I have every right to break it. I told the lawyer that I figured I'm going to have to fight this out because Landmark Merchant Solutions and Ladco Leasing won't give me straight answers or discuss this with me. I am concerned about them reporting this to the credit reporting agencies but my lawyer said if that happens, that I can have it taken off because I wasn't informed of the automatic debits from my checking until after the lease was signed.
