If you ever come across something that states that they will send you a *free* copy of your consumer credit report, with a *free trial membership* etc etc Do not do it.
They will bill your credit card long before the trial membership is up. I've been wondering what my credit report said about me, so I signed up for it, thinking I had 30 days to cancel it. 2 weeks before my 30 days was up, I look on my bank statement to see that I have been billed by them for $79.95. And since I had just paid off all of my utility bills and miscellaneous things from my bank account, I had less then that $79.95 in my bank account. So when they took my money, I also got charged an over draft fee. Which I am pursuing to get reimbursed for.
I called them up today and raised heck to get them to credit my bank account the $79.95 but they refuse to pay that other fee, which is their fault, because if they didn't bill me when they weren't supposed to, I would never have been in the negative. Do not let them fool you. They will give you the run around, it is not worth it. Just call up the 3 credit burueas yourself and get a real free report straight from them. It is worth it. Believe me. Don't get scammed like I did.
