I signed up with consumerinfo to get a "free" credit report, by signing up you are informed that you have a 30 day trial period to try their service. Within the 30 days, if you are not satisfied with the service you can cancel the service without being charged. I processed my account with them on JUly 18 and my credit card statement reflects a $9.95 charge on July 19. What happened to the 30 day trial period?
Additionally, on that particular day, I didn't have any paper to print my report the next day, I got some paper and when I attempted to print my report, it would not come up. To this day, I have not been able to print my report. I made two calls to the company and was told two different stories as to why I can't get a credit in the the amount of $9.95. Also both times I was told that I could print out my report but I've followed all the steps clicked on all the links and still can't do it. Consumerinfo.com is a rip-off and I want my $9.95 credited back to my card.
