We contracted Minton, Expect the Best to help find us distributors and get some pr placements. We signed a contract for 4 months of service at a cost of $3000/month. The contract guaranteed to get us into at least 6 distributors in different areas of the country. The contract also guaranteed us 4 major pr plugs.in the 4 month period we received ZERO. We did not get any new distributors. We did not get any major pr plugs.
She had told us it would take a couple months to get samples out and get some contracts. After about 2.5 months she asked for product to send to distributors. We thought samples should have been sent in the first couple weeks if you were going to sign contracts in the following months. I think we received 3 reports total for the 4 months. When we first talked she said we should begging to sign contracts in the 3rd month. I can tell you we never received any offers. We are not sure if she ever did anything or contacted anyone at all. As we got into the 4th month she stopped answering our calls and would reply to every third email or so.
When we were a couple weeks from the end of the contract we let her know that if she did not secure all of the receivables in the contract we wanted our money back proportional to what she did get. We had told her if she had gotten us into 3 places we would only ask for half our money back but we received NOTHING. We began asking for our money back on 3/1 after the contract expired. Since then she has not responded to any emails or phone messages. We contacted the BBB last week and have begun talks with lawyers in Fort Collins to retrieve the money that was taken from us.
