Danielle (Emberton) Stroemer
A Drop In Time Photography Photographer trying to BLACKMAIL Bride and Groom by not going to BBB or newspaper in exchange for all of their photos... Bride and Groom has proof in writing from Danielle Stroemer herself!

Our photographer Danielle Stroemer (A drop in Time Photography... Now Mementos) located on 132 E 7th St. Dunfermline, IL-close to Canton, did not provide us with all of our engagement or wedding photos. We received 3/4 of them in black and white! We paid her over 4months in advanced. She told both my husband and I that she would be at our Rehearsal and she did not show up! We also have in writing that she would. Our rehearsal got started over a half hour late waiting on her. She would not answer my phone call and when she finally did, we had started the rehearsal and of course we were upset and I did not have time to talk. Then she texted me at 1am in the morning of our wedding and asked me if we still wanted her to be our photographer! Showed up late on our Wedding Day. Half our pics are taken crooked... Back of my father in-laws head. Pictures of only decor. Ex) guest book without my close friend in the picture. She was sitting on the floor (next to the cake table) eating! I was mortified when a guest came up to me and told me that our Photographer was eating on the floor at our Reception. I look over and there she was. It wasn't like there was no where for her to sit. There were PLENTY of chairs for her to sit at or in the kitchen! So of course instead of trying to do what ever she could to fix the problem, our only pictures we have of our Wedding Day, are a reflection of her not caring. And not only was I disgusted, but when my husband, my dad and mom and my in-laws reviewed the pictures before I said anything to them, they too were all shocked at how bad they were. Comments were made and asked why the pictures were crooked? Anyone can take a picture to wal-mart and make it crooked if they want too. And to prove what she did, I have a copy of the letter, her blackmailing us, saying... If we didn't go to the local newspaper and do Not contact the BBB and sign a piece of paper saying we wouldl not, she will give us all of our photos! Really? Who does this? This was our Special Day and could not be re-done. Very unprofessional and after the fact, we found out that she had not gone to Photography School and is charging more for her services. All she has done is pick up a camera and called herself a photographer. All we got was about 30 photos that were ok. They were nothing that were Spectacular or Stunning. Definitely nothing like some of the other Brides had received for their wedding day. She only posted one our pics on her website because there were only a few "good" pictures. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I have yet to still receive all our photos or an appology. All I asked of her was to make it right and do the right thing. Just give us all of our photos. She wouldn't even come and sit with us to go over our cd! That's right. The first time we seen our photos were only on a cd. No proofs.instead, she sent her husband to give us our cd, because it a month late from the date on our contract and what she didn't know was we could see that she only spent a week on "detailing/fixing" our photos. From our extremely horrible experience, I would hope that others check personal referrals of previous clients and check the Better Business Bureau site for reputable photography businesses. I pray this does not happen to another Bride on her Special Day... You can't go back to re-create the moment...
