Photographer promised great quality photos in a timely manner. Engagement pictures were taken on September 3 and have never been posted on his website as promised. An 8x10 engagement picture was promised to me 3 weeks before the wedding and I got the picture the night before our wedding day September 23. Which I had to take to get mounted in a rush for the wedding. Loose wedding proofs, 50 thank you cards and one 16x20 portrait was all I was entitled to get for $1000.00. Had the quality and the service been a whole lot better maybe I would not be complaining so much.
One only gets married once and your photographer is suppose to capture all the special moments on film. Brides depend on that for memories. This photographer not only did he neglect to get several important shot but he left when the reception started. When I questioned this his reply was: His assistant did not have the knowledge of what to do and therefore missed very important pictures. Not to mention when I saw the quality of my photos online I immediately sent him an email and he replied with a not so professional answer. Here is a copy of what I asked and his reply:
My reply - I cannot see myself paying the kind of money that was paid to your Studio for pictures that are so dark and missing several important shots that every single one of your previous weddings did get and I did not. Honestly, our guest took better pictures and neither one of them are Professional Photographers with high tech cameras.
Photographers reply - I see very few if any imperfections as I go thru these pictures. I have done way beyond for you what you asked for. Please come in here soon to pick up photos and so you can pick out your big portrait and remit the balance to me asap so we can finally close the chapter. As I look thru these proofs I see plenty of marvelous shots. I could not control the obvious delays on your part regarding wedding that was shot in pitch black later than anticipated.
When a photographer is hired it is his responsibility to have the proper lighting. He has done other weddings here in the past so this location is nothing new to him, 90% of our pictures were crooked as you can well see if you view them online.
