Prior to our wedding, we were looking for a photographer. The prices were outrageous. Through several discussion we found a new photographer that was very reasonable. She did not hold any copyrights on her photos and she claimed to be there, at your wedding, for the entire day. Well, that is where it all started. Ten minutes prior to the wedding the photographer was not there. She finally arrived and snapped a few pictures. After the wedding, she took a few more pictures and then we were off. We went to the covered bridge, outside of Reynolds, and took some more pictures. Whe we got the the reception, the photographer made us do a couple staged pictures and she floated around the hall. Then she was gone.
So some time went by and no pictures, several phone calls and emails, still no pictures. I started to think that she lost our photos. Remind you, these are all digital photos and we had gone several weeks, if not months without any photos. I started calling around to the three other couple I knew that had the same photographer and they were having the same problem. We got married in October, another couple in September and a third in May of last year and we are all missing parts of our packages.
It has been five months since we got married and we still have not gotten any of our actual pictures. We have gotten a couple of our pictures on a disc (only becasue I went to her house) and I DVD slide show. We finally got a disc of all the pictures but it was evident that she left very early in the night. We actually got better pictures from friends and family.
The worst part about the entire situation is that your calls are never returned and there is always an excuse or it is always another week or another month. For anyone that is looking for a wedding photographer, take my advice and do not use Sandra Lee Weddings.
