The invoice you receive makes you think its coming from the US Patent and Trademark office and that it is for a registration fee due to the official government office. However, if you look at the detailed test, you will find that is actually a solicitation and not a bill.
Trademarks being a sensitive issue, its a clever way to make you think you need to do something (officially) to protect your interests, however it is simply a trademark monitoring service that probably would provide a service you really dont need if your attorney has handled things properly for you.
Do not just send this over to your accounting office for payment. Read it. Its not a requirement for trademarks, just an additional service by an individual vendor.
