Paid him $300 consultation that was supposed to go toward job

We wanted to sound proof our garage. He said he would give us an estimate, but it would cost $300 and would go toward the job. He came, he measured the garage, gave us a quote, took our check. We called him back wanting to schedule a date for him to start because he said at the time he was booked for a few weeks.

We figured. Yeah, he won't rip us off. He lives in the area. He never called us back. We stopped trying. That's a great way to make a buck. Some scam. $300 for 45 minutes of his time.

Don't use him. He won't come back!
