We were contacted by a Norvergence Scam Artist in October. He told us that he could save us hundreds a month with Norvergence. After the installation, we received a set of cell phones and we were told that our old phone numbers would be ported over to the new phones within 2 weeks.
Mind you, it was a huge concern of ours to retain our old phone numbers because they are on our business contracts and our clients may call us 24 hours a day and receive an answer -unlike norvergence.
Today is April 22.6 MONTHS LATER, my numbers have NOT been ported over!!! I have continuously contacted norvergence almost daily, and cannot get a straight answer as to why I have so many problems. Everytime, I ask to speak to a manager or a supervisor, and not a single person has the guts to get on the phone with me and explain to me why they cant port our phone numbers.
I decided to take action, and called Norvergence, and asked them to cancel our contract. After numerous requests to cancel our contract, I decided that I would not pay them anymore. I figured that would be the way to get someone from Norvergence to call me.
Wrong. I am now looking at a letter from Polular Leasing, a subsisidiary of Banco Popular. Popular leasing is about to sue my company because somewhere in the fine print that my Norvergence scam artist salesman skipped right by, it says that I am locked into this contract with popular leasing no matter how poor the customer service is with norvergence. NO MATTER WHAT happens, I am bound to pay. This is absurd.
Not only did Norvergence fail to reduce my phone costs as they had promised, they tripled it. I currently have to keep paying Verizon to keep our old phone numbers active, as well as the norvergence. And on top of it all, we are going to be sued by Popular Leasing, a company that I was never told about. I never knew who they were!
All I want is for Norvergence to get out of our lives. I am asking for the immediate cancellation of our contract, and for Popular Leasing to end their lawsuit.
