I had ordered the M-Life National plan from a AT&T Wireless representative over the phone. I told him that I was active duty military and would soon be relocated. He said that the National plan was the way to go. I received two phones in error and was told to "pick the number I like and return the other." I followed the instructions and did so. I received a $860 phone bill with $ 654 in roaming charges. I called and inquired about my bill. They said I was on a local plan. I had them do some research and they acknowledged that I had ordered the National plan and they sent me two phones, one with a local plan and one with a national plan. But they also told me that I returned the National plan phone. They said that paying my bills was like signing a legal contract saying that I agreed to everything on the bill. They also told me that since the plan was ordered more than two months ago that they could not perform a "rerate" to my account. They said it was my responiblity to know my plan. The plan title is not listed until page three on the bill. There is no explanation of the plan with the bill. I assumed the company would give me the plan I ordered. Silly me. They were very rude and had instant attitudes with me.
