America's Legal Plan / Premier Choice
Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

In December I recieved a charge on my bank statement of 14.95 from a Premier Choice. I did not know who this was. I called the 1-866 number that was listed with the charge. I got a recorded message asking to leave my name, number, zip code and membership number. I left the message that I could not leave a membership number because I did not who they were yet they were taking money from my account. I leaft my name and number and requested a call back.

I tried calling several times over the following weeks and never got a response (or a real person to speak to).in January there was another charge for 14.95 from premier choice and a 19.95 charge from an America's legal Plan. Both compaies had the same 1-866 number attached. After calling several more times and letting them know I was signing an affidavit with the bank, I finnaly on 2-26-04 got an actual person on the phone. According to this customer rep, they had called me back in November asked me to take a look at some sort of membership plans that they were going to send me. According to her they have me tape recorded agreeing to this and understanding that if I was not interested to cancel and I would not be charged. I still have know idea what she is talking about. I didn't receive any membership plans of any sort. She could only offer to cancel my membership at this time.

I wanted my money back. She explained that it was against policy to so. I asked how they could charge me for something I didn't receive? I can't cancel something that I don't about. The rep said per their policy the only thing she could do was to send me out another membership packet. I stated that they have stilled charged me for 2 month's of something I never recieved. She repeated that they would not refund my money.
How can any company charge you for something that they can not even prove you recieved???
