The UPS Store I dropped my package off at won't process my claim

On May 10th I brought my box in to ship at a UPS Store. I did the Paypal shipping myself a taped the label on it. It was all ready to go.

The guy there asks if I want a copy of the tracking #. I say sure but then realize its just his excuse to buy time for a sales pitch. He tells me I can ship at UPS stores for less that Paypal fees and they will help me if problems happen. Whatever but maybe i can do it myself just fine. The guy starts shaking the box and rambling on how the box might not be good enough for shipping. I tell him its just a vintage fan and I really doubt it can be damaged and I only got $38 for it on Ebay.

Big mistake. Leave it to UPS to manhandle my shipping! The grill on the fan was all bent and now the buyer wants a refund! I went back to the UPS Store and now theres a differnet guy there. He says he won't help me because they didn't make the label. What kind of stupid copout is that? How convenient... If you don't pay them to ship they'll smash your package and then tell you to take a hike. Like I'm supposed to have them box and ship my stuff with service like that right?

Next time I'm using my post office. Sure they might seem like they want you in and out, but that's better than the cheesy bulls*t freindliness at UPS. They're like used car salemen out to get every penny in your pocket. At least is know the post office doesn't have guerillas handling my boxes!
