I put up an add on craigslist to sell a game of mine and I got a post from this Jenifer Kos lady within a half hour. She said she was willing to pay the full asking price plus $100 extra for shipping since I had to ship it to Nigeria. She said she only wanted to pay through PayPal since she had been scammed before and didnt want that to happen so I set up a paypal accound and had her send the money to me.
I got an email from paypal saying it had been taken out of her account and is in limbo.in order for it to go into my account I had to give them the shipping tracking number. So I sent the package and sent them the tracking number and they said within 48 hourse the money would be put into my account.
A day later, I got an email from them saying they accidently withdrew $200 extra from this lady and in order for them to give me my money I would have to take $200 of my own money and wire it to her through her bank.
At this email I got really suspicious so I called paypal and they informed me this was a fraud. These people/this person has some how made a fake paypal website so they can trick people into sending them stuff and wiring extra money to them. I contacted the post office immediately to put a recall on my package, but they cannot confirm theat it will get back to me. Be VERY wary of people who want you to ship internationally. Make sure you have the money before you ship.
