I recently ordered a $150 flower arrangement to be sent to my Uncle's funeral in White Plains, NY. The order was placed by a local flower shop in Richmond, TX called Lisa Marie's.
I paid the local shop $150 and asked for a nice arrangement. Lisa Marie advised me to allow the shop preparing the arrangement to choose the style so that I would get the best deal possible. The order was sent to BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP in Yonkers, NY. BLOSSOM FLOWER'S threw together a basket that listed in the FTD book for $65 and sent it to the funeral.
I paid $150 for a $65 arrangement. I have contacted both flower shops involved, however, they are not willing to do anything to resolve the matter.
Because I was not able to attend the funeral, I wanted to send a nice arrangement. BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP took advantage of the fact that I was not going to see the final product. As consumers we need to be able to trust FTD and Telefloral shops to send what we ask (and what we pay for). I was only informed about the arrangement being small, because my mother (who did attend the funeral) went into a shop in White Plains, NY and ordered the $65 FTD basket which turned out to be identical to my $150 arrangement.
What a rip off!
Don't trust blossom flower shop to send what you paid for!
