Customer Service is NOT Customer Service at All!

I had a freezer that had a leak in the coolant lines which had to be replaced under warranty. I lost a freezer FULL of food. Apparently Sears hs ano emergency service for freezers and refrigerator repair. At first I was told that no one could come for 10 days by somone in India! I called customer relations and finally had someone come in two days who shot the lines full of dye and said someone would come out in two weeks to check the unit. The unit was still not cooling so I called someone to come out again. Now a total of six days has passed and the food in the freezer is ruined. Someone came out and said that yes, the freezer needed to be replaced and it would be there in 48 hours.

I waited four more days and finally I had to call twice to finally get the new unit delivered and then restocked the new unit. Every time I passed by the unit, it registered zero degrees so I thought everything was fine. Five days later, I open the unit to find that EVERYTHING that was brand new was destroyed and rotting in the unit. I called Sears and they said that they will give me $100 for everything that was ruined because I did not have a special policy of insurance that was never even offered to me. This freezer was only five days old!!! The new freezer was delivered in two days but now I am out over $400 in food lost. I work too hard for my money to have to suffer this loss TWICE. Sears needs to make this right. At this point, I am considering filing a small claims loss in court to get my money back. I will also not consider ever buying another Sears product. The service that Sears has provided is pitiful.
