I purchased Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Sears along with Sears extended service plan. A little over a year later, the fridge started making horrible noise and the refrigerator side stopped cooling. After 7-8 hours the freezer stopped working. I called Sears home repair services, they sent some tech who told that a big block of ice has deposited around the fan on freezer side, he opened the panel and removed the ice, told us that fridge will start cooling within next 24 hours and left. After waiting for few days, our fridge didn%u2019t work and we called Sears home repair service s again. They sent another tech after several days and he checked and told us that its motherboard is functioning and needed to be replaced. He ordered that and left. We lost lots of food and medicines. After many days, they replaced the motherboard and fridge started working. After few months, we had the same problem and they did the same again. This time, we experienced the same problem after two days. Now they gave appointment after almost two weeks. I lost many half-day pays for just waiting on techs because they give 4-hour block and food items. Overall, I have a really bad experience with Sears customer services, often they are very rude, tell you to wait and after several minutes they hang up.
