Activated an old xm radio that my husband had. It was not working the best and decided to cancel it. The employee did not cancel it (I later found out). I decided to order a new radio and at that time found out the first one was not cancelled so I ask the 2nd employee to cancel that radio. I received the new radio and the services are great. Later come to find out that they took out of my bank account 59.50 without my knowledge or consent for activation which I paid for when I ordered the radio and not sure what all else that amount actually was for. They could not tell me anything other that activation fee. Well, they agreed they were in the wrong and was going to refund me 51.50 of that charge.
Of course nothing is that easy, I looked at my account and they took out 51.50. Mind you this is all within 5 days and 1 radio in service. After about 5 people I finally got someone that understood what happened and what they did wrong and agreed that I needed to now be refunded 103.00. BUT, it is going to take 7 to 10 business days for that transaction to take place. They can extort money out of my bank account without my knowledge or permission but they cannot replace it immediately. Then the 2nd time we talked to them today about the refund they are now saying it will be refunded within 72 hours and actually gave us a reference number. I know, nothing is that easy. We shall see if we are refunded or if we have to take further action. Please&beware - do not give them access to your money.
