I have been an Aaron's customer for over 10 years. I did an early pay off for a TV on 2/5/10. I paid $909.00 to pay the contract out. I went to Sam's Wharehouse on 2/7/10 and saw a very similiar TV for $358.00.
I called Aarons to return the TV and they said the contract had closed my account and it could not be accessed again. The Manager tried to show me a Termination policy in the Contract that stated no refunds after products are returned and account is closed. I had not returned the product, I treid to get this clarified with 3 levels of personnel to no avail. No where in the contract does it say no return on early pay outs.
