I bought my Magic jack in April 07 we let in expire after a year because we didnt use it. My father passed in Sept and I reconnected with my sister in Ga so I decided in Nov I would get it turned back on was charged $19.95 and everything was good. Today I go to pay for gas and my checking account is overdrawn by $160 and there was $500 gone. Not only was there a fradulant charge that the bank is trying to figure out, there is a $19.95 charge for magic jack posted pending 12/23.
I called magic jack "you are caller 5 your estimated wait time is 3 min" my caller # kept going down but my wait time kept going up... I ended up waiting 30 min. I finally get a hold of someone and explain to her that my account had been hacked was overdrawn and I was being double charged and gave her the dates, she said there was nothing in the system about this second charge and they couldnt do anything til it went through. Im like NO you are going to stop it before it goes through because Im not going to wait for a refund and you not cover the overdraft, she says sorry thats all I can tell you. I said let me talk to a supervisor... She says sorry she will just tell you the same thing.
So now Im going to have to wait til Monday and call my bank... And figure out what they want to do.
