I recently purchased Magic Jack at my local Best Buy for $69.95 tax. Hooked product up & gave Magic Jack permission to contact AT&T so that I might retain phone # I've had for 30 years. Magic Jack charged $20.00 for me to keep #. After AT&T discontinued service and Magic Jack picked up, I found out that Magic Jack doesn't work with my Dish Network satellite based internet. Contacted AT&T to restore service. Magic Jack charged me an additional $30.00 to port out my number. All this for something that doesn't work to begin with.
