Comcast has systems in place for their convenience, but has nothing to do with the customers. They are a monopoly here and I have had lots of problems with customer service over the past 9 years. The latest is having to call back now 5 times to make a simple appointment (so far still has not happened), following the instructions of the Comcast technician who was last here and tried to fix my Internet service. I have had the same ongoing problem for months that have nothing to do with some area wide problems right now. I make the appointment wait at home, and because of area wide problems (not my area, others, I still have my usual service, which has it's own problems) they cancel the appointment, NEVER TELL YOU, it is Comcast policy to not inform customers when they decide to cancel appointments period. When you call to find out why they are not showing up, then tell them your problem has nothing to do with other factors, they not only will not make the appointment, but there system can not take another appointment so you have to call back again at a later time, which they can not tell you. As I have said 5 attempts and counting to make a simple appointment.
Comcast keeps in place various systems designed for their company convenience, which have nothing to do with their customers, but rather are designed to either frustrate, cost customers time and effort, and shows they could really care less about people, they just take their money. Nice being a non competitive monopoly. I spend over $2000 a year on these creeps and they can not call you back or make an appointment over the phone and make you call back again and again. I have had many other problems I will not go into, but one quick tip, watch your bills, they sometimes add things that have nothing to do with your account.
Comcast you need much better systems which do not screw and inconvenience your customers, and start treating people with dignity and respect.
