Conspires With Contractors and Ignores Consumer — NO NEW A/C just Band-Aids on the 20-year old unit Houston Texas

Our appliances were less than 10 years old when we bought our house and signed on with First American Home Warranty. But now, 10 years later, these same appliances are worn out and fail on a regular basis. The A/C-heat is the biggest problem and the most critical in Houston, Texas. For years we have needed repair services, first one part, then another, and another.

Cinco Mechanical diagnoses the problem — $55 to then say they don't work on Lennox and/or can't get Lennox parts. So Accurate A/C & Heating is dispatched and either agrees or disagrees with the first diagnosis, but either way, orders a part. A week later, if we are lucky, the repair is completed and the A/C-heat limps along. Several months will pass and the unit fails again.

Again FAHW sends Cinco Mechanical who doesn't work on Lennox but explains what Accurate did incorrectly when they the previous repair. Then Accurate comes and does their inspection and orders a part... The same lengthy, frustrating process over and over and over for years.in 10 years we have paid $1000's of dollars in monthly payments, dozens of $55 service call cahrges, and for what? A Whirl-Away disposal and broken-down A/C.

Finally last week Accurate decided that we needed a new unit. Not a Lennox, but a new unit all the same. Two days for paperwork, two days for delivery... It has been six days yet no one has called to schedule an appointment. When I called Accurate, the person put me on hold and the line was disconnected.

Have you ever noticed on First American's website that "Service Request" is the last choice on their customer page? When will we file a class action suit against them? AGainst Cinco Mechanical? Against Accurate A/C & Heating? Lawyers, where are you???
