First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation
Shower valve claim denied as pre-existing after plumber fixed cartridges

Construction & Repair hileng 0

First American Home Buyers Protection is the worst among the worst, don't get their home warranty. I bought a home warranty which started from 08.20.12 through 08. When we moved into the house this August, there was no cold shower on the master bedroom and hot shower on the other restroom upstairs. ...

We contacted First American Home Buyers Protection on July 7. We told them we had an AC leak in the attic which was staining the living room ceiling. Limited coverage, must use company technician first, cancellation difficult for elderly

Shops, Products, Services E.35 0

First American Homebuyer's Protection has such limited coverage it is not worth the cost. At $36/month I feel my elderly mother signed up for it thinking it was a great deal. But, the problem is that you cannot call any repair service first. They send out a technician who will repair first. It 's ...

First American Home Warranty
Heat pump not repaired after five visits over 30 days

Shops, Products, Services Scott1460 0

Bottom line: this is a company you can not trust or depend on. Was a happy customer and even advocate for the previous 5 years. I mostly used them for minor repairs handled in a single visit. However, recently when the heat pump went out in a rental property I owned they showed their true colors. ...
