Purchased a Lawn Tractor 4/10 from local Sears Outlet Store charged to Sears Credit Card. Received first billing statement 4/23. Noticed the charge posted on 04/17 for Sears Accountcare of $16 and change. No one authorized or approved of this program or charge in my home. Called the listed number to inquire what charge was for and to have it removed. Customer Service Representative would not answer questions until he could attempt to tell me of the benefits of this program. Advised me that someone from household must have agreed to enroll in "Accountcare." As I continued to insist the charge be removed he became very condescending, disrespectful and angry. Placed me on hold for several minutes while he "checked something." I will return the Tractor I just purchased. Cancel my accounts with Sears and shop elsewhere. Check all billing statements from all businesses. While mistakes like this can happen I believe this was attempt to sneak charge onto statement. Until proven otherwise I believe this was a dishonest attempt to charge me for a program I consider useless. Tom Beeville, Texas
