My grandson purchased a ring from Herff Jones and paid 500.00 for it and was told his cap and gown would be free. Well it is time for graduation and now they want another 100.00. He transfered schools and I personally called them to let them know where he was at and I was told that Herff Jones would be going to the school to get sizes before time for graduation. He was not at the main school location, but at a location for children that were having a hard time with classes. I guess Herff Jones didn't think any one from that part of the school would graduate so they did not go to the school. I called Herff Jones again and they are only concerned about stealing money form students that have worked so hard to graduate. It is in writing on the sales invoice that we got when we purchased the ring that the cap and gown is included with the price of the ring. I hope no one else is going thru this. My grandson cannot walk at graduation without a cap and gown and he is very upset about this.
I want everyone to know what kind of people they are dealing with when they do business with Herff Jones.
They lie, steal and cheat our young men and women out of money and the thrill of graduation.
