Day 1 - I called the Geek Squad to repair my 5 yr old refrigerator that stopped working. The customer service person could not navigate the system to get an appointment for me.

Day 2 - No-one calls me back to set up appointment, so I call back re-explain my entire situation again. Holidays are next week - house full of company and no refrigerator. I'm told the are text messeging Sr. Tech that will call me back within 4 hours. 4 1/2 hours later - no phone call. I call back. Explain my story all over again. Appliance service center is closed for the day. They will email Sr. Tech and I will definately get a call back.

Day 3 - 10am, still no phone call. I call back. Re-explain entire story again. I am told someone will definately call me back. I get a call at 1pm someone can come right now or I have to wait. Luckily my husband has day off and is home. I tell them, fine someone is there now (I don't think this is the answer they thought they were going to get). Tech shows up and tells us main circuit board is fried. Part must be ordered. Part will be sent directly to me and we are to call when we get the part - someone will install 24 hours after part arrives.

Day 4 - Sr. Tech calls back from Day 1 call. I explain to the Sr. Tech the whole story again, that a tech has been out, what the problem is and that part is ordered. Sr. Tech schedules installation of part 4 days in future just to make sure that there is an appointment on the books. Later in Day 4 part arrives. We call service center and are told they are closed. Call back main line and told they can't do 24 hour installation as promised. Must keep Appointment for 4 days later. Someone will call on that day between 7am - 9am to let us know what time they can be there.

Day 5 - I call back service center. Ask if they will do 24 hour installation as promised. The answer is no - soonest they are available is the date 3 days into the future - but I can call on Day 7 to see if there are any cancellations that open up a time slot. Company arrives. No refrigerator.

Day 7 - I call back service center to check for cancellations. No cancellations but, someone will definately call me between 7am - 9am tomorrow and let me know what time to expect tech.

Day 8 - 9:15am. No call from service center. I call service center. Wait on hold for 45 minutes and no-one picks up. I call back 800 geeksquad number. Explain my story again. On hold for another 20 minutes only to be told that no-one is coming to install part today. Ask to speak to manager. Manager very sympathetic, gets me right in touch with dispatch. Dispatch puts me back on hold for 10 minutes. Comes back and tells me, someone will call me back. I explain that no, no one ever calls back and that I need someone to tell me what time they will be there today. I am told too bad, someone will call back.

We are finally called back and told someone can come Day 9 - they will call tomorrow with appointment time. We tell them, no thanks... We've already called someone else.

Don't bill us for time or part - we'll take that as the cost of aggrevation.

Do not buy appliances from best buy / do not use their warranties or service.
