Affordable Van Lines gave very dishonest service. We hired them through another agent (Trans National Van Lines) for an interstate move. They lied to us throughout the entire process. They did not protect our belongings as indicated in the agreement. They came unprepared and did not have enough supplies to properly protect our furniture. 15 items of furniture were not wrapped or protected. As a result 11 items of furniture were damaged in transit. They dissasembled six pieces of furniture and at time of delivery they would only reassemble one piece of furniture. They continuously lied to us about where our shipment was. They could not give us a delivery date. It took 25 days for delivery and we had no information about anything for almost one month. Three items were lost in transit. We cannot get anyone at Affordable Van Lines to return our calls or emails regarding the whereabouts of our missing items. We were charged for an electronics box and bubble wrap that was NEVER placed on our items as promised. The items left our home unwrapped. They promised the items would be wrapped as soon as they reached their "warehouse". These same items arrived unwrapped at delivery. DO NOT, under any circumstance, allow this company to move ANYTHING. We are now going through the long and tedious process of trying to re-coup for the damage they have done.
