Coast To Coast Van Lines - U.S. Movers
Coast To Coast Van Lines And U.S. Movers lied, mislead, ripped off with fradulent estimates and billing, and used shady partners to hijack your stuff

Coast to Coast Van Lines set up my moving job from Virginia to Mesa, AZ, but U.S. Movers (3530 W. Peterson #100, Chicago, IL 60659) did the physical move. The companies are affiliates. My company paid Coast to Coast for the relocation. I was told I would receive my items in 7-10 business days by Coast to Coast. U.S. Movers, however, said the delivery date I picked (Dec. 16) would be the first in a 14 day delivery window.

After I complained of the length of the delivery, the items were brought to Mesa on Dec. 29, but U.S. Movers wanted an additional $830 in cash for the delivery or else my items would go into back to Chicago into storage for an additional $1,000 fee until the money was paid. My company had spoken to Eric Amedi at U.S. Movers and a salesperson at Coast to Coast on Dec. 27 and my company said that Coast to Coast was paid for the amount quoted to them, $1.017.

My company's office manager was never told about the additional $830 and she told me not to pay the additional amount because they were paid what they asked for. I was forced to pay the money, in cash only, before the moving guy (yes, one guy) would even touch my stuff. My boyfriend and a friend had to move the furniture because the guy came alone and he acted as if we were his employees.

My furniture was left outside for us to move and set up. Any time I asked him to do his job, he called Eric on the phone, who was very uncooperative and could not understand why I was upset.in the end, I was $830 and one box short. It has been almost a year, and I have yet to see my missing Box.

I have been lied to by both companies ever since my items were picked up on Dec. 8. Throughout the process, I was not told when my items would get to Mesa, if the move was paid for, or that there was an additional amount until my items were in reach. U.S. Movers has been most unproffesional.

I was also not given a copy of any of the papers that I signed with U.S. Movers. Only an inventory list was given to me and it just contained numbers. U.S. Movers has tried to get me to pay for the move out of my pocket from the beginning and has yet to give up.
