Booked delivery from NY to NC in Dec being told that it would not be a problem. Sceduled as per contract to fly down to NC to receive furniture ($apprx. $10k). Furniture picked up on 2/15 for 2/18 delivery. At pickup price was double than estimate. When we arrived in NC to receive furniture was told no way and not for at least 2 more weeks at best. When spoke to Edna, the President of the company she said "you have a problem." Had to fly home to return to work w.O. Furniture delivery. Not until we hired an attorney several weeks later did we finally get delivery. Had to hire someone to receive the furniture. Delivery had pieces with damage and I am still not sure all pieces were delivered since I could not be present as I had explained was necessary when I signed the original contract and gave a deposit.
This has been a nightmare that has yet to end! Please do not consider Apollo Van Lines for any moves.
