A class action suit is needed to call this company on their illegal billing practices. If you are late paying your bill, DISH will shut off your service — you can't even get local channels. Now, that part may be fair enough, but DISH will keep billing you for the services it has ceased to provide. I paid my bill but was insistent that I would not pay for the month in which I had no service.
I made five phone calls in an attempt to get someone who had authority to correct my bill to remove the charges for services not received. I finally stopped when "Renee" told me that my only recourse was to write the owner of DISH Network. She said that she was a supervisor and that there was no point in talking to anyone else because "no one could help me." She also made no effort to hide that she was laughing.
That is why I am "Furious Mad"!
DISH won't stop their illegal practices until they are assessed punitive and/or exemplary damages. The phone operators do not even pretend to be courteous or interested in helping you in any way.
DISH is calling my home phone incessantly. It is annoying because my children keep trying to answer the phone, and I am certainly not going to answer because "no one can help me"!
DISH is systematically charging consumers for the services that it has intentionally ceased to provide. You will even be charged a late fee for not paying timely the bill for services not provided.
