On Saturday, January 26th, I placed an order for a ficus bush, which was to be delivered on Monday, January 28th. The bush was purchased to celebrate a special occasion, and I selected Florist Express specifically because they offered same day delivery. The timeline below outlines my experience:
1/26/08 Placed order to be delivered on 1/28/08.
1/28/08 Order did not arrive and I was not contacted by Florist Express.
1/29/08 Contacted Florist Express and was assured that the order would be delivered on 1/30/08 with a $10 upgrade.
1/30/08 Order did not arrive. When I contacted Florist Express they indicated that there were no ficus bushes available and that I would need to choose an alternative to be delivered on 1/31/08. I canceled the order and was promised that the refund would go through in 3-5 business days.
2/12/08 I contacted Florist Express to find out why I had not yet received a refund. After being put on hold three times, I was assured that it would be taken care of.
2/19/08 I still had not received a refund and therefore submitted a dispute with my credit card company.
