RPM started calling after i found them on my Equifax credit report and went WTF is this crud... I called them to find out that in Nov i owed at&t 64 dollars... It just landed on my credit report in april. Thats 5 years and change after the alleged debt. So my red flags go off knowing that this is Complete bs because there is no way in this technological day and age it would take at&t or anybody for that matter 5 years to get around to claiming money owed to them. I called at&t they dont know who I am, at&t said they would have just wrote that small a bill off its not worth putting into collections... So I had equifax do an official investigation. This investigation gives RPM 45 days to respond to equifax to prove the validity of the claim... They did not... Got a nice note from equifax though. We have researched the collection account. The results are: This item has been deleted from your credit file. If you have additional questions about this item please contact: Receivables Performance MG, 10413 Beardslee Blvd, Bothell WA 98011-3205
So got the bad hit off the credit report. Yay... Now the bad news... Rpm is still calling me daily, but can not produce for me or equifax any information that validates this claim. My credit report said the debt was 64 dollars... RPM is now claiming I owe them 75. This and the fact at&t is not even on my credit report anywhere leads my to believe this is a scam and Ripoff.
