Have have tried for three years to get a copy of my credit report with Equifax. They have denied my written request and have denied my email and phone requests.
Three years ago I hired a credit repair company to work on my credit reports
At this time, Equifax put a involuntary " Fraud Alert on my account"/ They sent me papers to sign to verify I wanted Fraud Alert. I did not sign them.
Without my permission, Equifax placed a Fraud Alert and a hold on my account. This hold does not allow ME to get a copy of my credit report.
When I apply for credit, I am denied because I have no answered filed by Equifax. Their actions are depriving me of my rights to qualify for a loan on application and to remove misinformation on my credit report.
Wrong and out dated information prevents me from qualifing for a competitive interest rate, thus I can't get a mortgage loan without agreeing to pay an outrageous interest rate like 11%.
