Filed a report regarding HomEq services also on "consumer complaints" Equifax refuses to remove an account that does not belong to me. They claim HomEq filed information, HomEq claims it's Equifax's fault. Frankly I don't care who's fault it is, I just want the information removed from my bureau report, not a statement below the account that states "Disputed". This statement does nothing for my credit score.
My other gripe is, they have no phone numbers posted to be able to contact Equifax directly. If your going to do this kind of buisness Equifax have a number were you can be reached.
