In 2000 I bought 2 Verizon Wireless phones and contract. The bills were paid, but then in April we moved from one area to another, including a different area code. I called Verizon and requested a different phone number. Well instead of the number being changed, they cancelled the number I had, charged me for the cancellation, then charged me for starting a new number. So I got double billed. I called them and thought I had it straightened out. I still had service for several months, but kept getting the run around on this bill. So I cancelled the account and paid my phone service and early fees. This was at the end of 2002. So now its 2007 and I am getting a bill and phone called from a collections company of Midland Credit Management who is also listed on usacomplaints.com for fees. I know others have had the same problems, and if there is a class action suit please let me know.
